| The Rochester Hotel is situated on a beautifully landscaped site, featuring a flower-filled courtyard. Rooms are decorated in Old West motif inspired by Western movies filmed in the Durango area. Movie posters framed in marquee lights line the hallways: Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Around the World in Eighty Days, and City Slickers among them. The Rochester Hotel was designated as "The Flagship Hotel of Colorado" by Condé Nast Traveler in 1996. | ||
